Our start-to-finish green cleaning for every rug includes the following:
Inspection - to work out your rug’s specific age and condition, so we decide how best to clean it
Dusting - a vigorous dusting will shake loose any grit and dirt lodged in the fibers.
Pre-Treatment - a gentle conditioning pre-treatment for spots and stains is then applied. This goes to work on stains and odors.
Cleaning - Either we will use a deep immersion technique or dry clean it. We only wash by hand, as we feel it is kinder on the rug. With immersion, the rug is dipped into a pool of shallow water and then washed carefully, rinsed and then patted dry with soft towels. With dry cleaning, it is carefully cleaned by hand and, again, only green, eco-friendly products are used.

The rug is then taken into our climate-controlled and humidity free drying room - this gives it the chance to dry quickly and before mold and mildew have a chance to develop. Finally, we groom it - the pile is aligned and fringes are straightened. After the rug has been inspected one last time it will be returned to you, thoroughly clean, but without any toxic chemicals in the material. We are sure you will be surprised - and pleased - at the results.
